Can we book individual rooms?
No — Hamia Zanzibar is rented as a whole property exclusively. This ensures complete privacy for your group with no shared spaces. The entire 4-bedroom villa is yours.
How many guests can the property accommodate?
Up to 8 guests are included in our standard rates, but the property can welcome up to 10 people at most using the sofa beds in 2 of the 4 bedrooms.
Is there staff at the property?
Yes — friendly staff are on-site to assist with housekeeping, maintenance, and any needs. However, you can easily request their absence for complete privacy if needed.
How far is the beach?
Kendwa Beach is a 20-minute walk from the property — one of Zanzibar's most beautiful stretches of white sand. Nungwi village is about 15 minutes away by pikipiki (motorcycle transport).
Can you arrange airport transfers?
Absolutely. We can arrange comfortable transfers from Zanzibar Airport (ZNZ) to the property. The drive takes approximately 1–1.5 hours. Just let us know your flight details.
Is the pool safe for children?
The pool area is enclosed within the property grounds and suitable for families, but children should be supervised at all times. There is no dedicated shallow area for toddlers.
Can we book a massage or activities?
Yes! Our team can arrange in-house massage treatments with experienced therapists, as well as a wide range of excursions — snorkeling, dhow cruises, spice tours, Stone Town visits, and more.
